Fun at my Sister's

We arrived on Sunday morning, just in time for the 49'ers game. While Russ & Ed went to the game to meet cousin Nicoll, the girls' hung out together. I hadn't seen my nieces, Mia & Kiely, in 3.5 yrs! Kiely, with the superstar glasses, is now 5!
Mia is now 8 and made us pancakes for breakfast. What a little chef!
Kiely loves dress up and showed me her "High School Musical" cheerleader costume!
On many previous visits, we were unable to see the great view due to the fog, but on this trip, it was clear skies all 3 days!
The girls wanted to get manicures so we had our nails done. Kiely chose sparkly purple and Mia chose a kelly green color.
On Monday night, we went to have dinner with my old Coppercreek Camp friends. Julie and I went to Junior High and High School together and we hadn't seen each other since graduation in 1987. I last saw Marc in '87 at college and met Peter for the first time that night. A couple of weeks ago, Marc organized a Coppercreek reunion and they all had a blast! Wished I could've been there after hearing all the stories.
Yesterday, we went downtown. Russ showed Kiely his favorite "upside down" trick.
We shopped at the Ferry Building's farmer's market.
The Bay Bridge looked picturesque!
We opted to get take out from "Out the Door", a great Vietnamese place inside the Ferry Bldg and eat outside.
Kiely wanted to be the photographer and asked us to make funny faces.
Next, it was Mia's turn to take photos. More funny faces!
A group photo.
Uncle Russ carried the girls on his shoulders for most of the day.
For dinner, we decided on having salmon and crab with our favorite Newton Chardonnay! The girls' wore party dresses for the fun of it.
Naomi also made mashed potatoes, Chinese green beans from the Farmer's Market, spinach & romaine salad with apples and vinaigrette with two kinds of salmon and lots of crab legs!
Kiely chose her Mama's dress... the one that she said was "the most beautiful in the closet". She also took the photo.
Kiely & Uncle Russ feeling good!
Thank you, Ed, Naomi, Mia & Kiely for a fun visit!
Kiely took more photos.... this one of Mia eating her ice cream shake.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year! Or, of course, please come to see us in Saipan!
