Sweet Suite Stay, MEI Christmas & Hawley Grotto Farewell

At the recent Club at the Hyatt Golf Tournament, we purchased raffle tickets for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation and won the I Sagua Spa Suite Stay! It was definitely an amazing treat: one night at the Spa Suite, 60-minute massage for two and Sunday Brunch for two!

The 720 square foot I Sagua Suite is the only room inside the new I Sagua Spa which was opened in December 2007.
As the former Chinese restaurant, the I Sagua Spa was transformed into a $2million facility.
The bathroom is luxurious with marble walls, expansive steam shower, dual bowl sinks and...
and egg-shaped bathtub!
The suite has two full sized platform beds (for Japanese guests) with nice Asian-inspired decor.
Outside, is the adjacent patio and koi pond which Tyce is familiar with.
The two leather couches are comfortable for viewing the 42" flat screen, which now seems a bit small for me! :)
After our massages, we rested and then got dressed for MEI's Annual Christmas Party. This year, it was conveniently held at Hyatt's Miyako restaurant and the theme was formal.
The highlight of the room is the aquarium which separates the living room from the bathroom.
It's rare when we get to dress formally in Saipan and Saturday night was one of those nights!
The women of MEI....looking gorgeous!
The gentlemen of MEI... looking dashing!
Lynn was one of the organizers of the party. There were six games with lots of laughter and fun!
Mara and David enjoying the party. The reindeer antlers were part of a game on which team could unwrap and eat Hershey's kisses the fastest.
Group photo... Merry Christmas, MEI!
On Sunday, a group of 23 cyclists participated in the Nate Hawley Farewell Fun Ride. The trail started from the Grotto to Cowtown, Banzai, FEBC, Kimikaze, Autobahn and back to the Grotto.
Afterwards, the group enjoyed a sunset get together at the Grotto's deck.
Calm waters made Grotto swimming both safe and fun for all.
Here's the view of the sunset looking from the Grotto to Lau Lau & Dan Dan.
About 50-60 people gathered for the farewell event.
We will miss you dearly... Nate, Krista, Tayah, Max, Sera & Strider! Please come visit us again!
