Niseko's Winter Wonderland

Tuesday brought more snow and the slopes looked like a winter wonderland! The trees were turning white and there were fewer green bamboo plants springing up from the ground.
The Ace Pair lift is one of our favorites as we have two short, but fun ski slopes to descend.
The 1000 meter hut is popular for the best & most expensive hot cocoa on the hill.
The triple hooded slope was recently voted the Best Slope at the SWAT Party 2010.
Lightening (aka Dylan or yellow snow) rides the broom in the house. He's 5 and really fast!
The slopes were filling up by Christmas.
On Wednesday night, we had a fabulous night ski session. It was a clear and pleasant evening with great visibility and the Sinclair family had just arrived!
The snowball fights started officially that night.
Night skiing is awesome in Niseko as there's usually much less wind and better visibility.
This is always the most favorite holiday of the year for me!
